Its so hard to explain to kids something you yourself cannot fathom or understand. On 9/11 i was so thankful that i could hold my lil men in my arms while i TRIED to explain it all to them. They had a hard time dealing with the lockdowns at the schools. And i have to say the teachers in my area have been doing a great job dealing with the whole situation. They have counselors for any of the kids having a hard time understanding. They explained why the schools had to take precautions with Pennsylvania being right smack in between the whole mess. We may not have been a target but we were in the line of fire in an off kind of way. One time i am thankful for our miles and miles of woodland and farmlands! It gave the plane a place to crash without taking anymore lives than necessary as sad as it is to say. *sigh*

My heart goes out to anyone who lost family and friends that day.
